About the library
A reference shelf for perfume wearers who want to understand the materials behind a scent.
Last updated October 21, 2026
Our purpose
Bla Blu Bli Fragrance Library explains individual perfume notes, natural extracts, aroma molecules and everyday fragrance habits. It is written in English for perfume buyers and hobbyists in the US and UK. The library does not rank commercial perfumes or sell bottles.
Ownership and authorship
Samveg Jain is the site owner. Articles carry the byline “The Bla Blu Bli Fragrance Library editors.” This is an editorial attribution, not a claim that a credentialed perfumer or medical professional has reviewed the articles.
Articles explain fragrance materials using perfumery references, IFRA standards and raw material suppliers' technical data. We distinguish established material facts from subjective scent descriptions and do not claim professional credentials.
What the descriptions mean
Words such as powdery, creamy and green describe perceptions, not measurable promises about every formula. A note list is a creative description and is different from the product ingredient declaration. Testing a finished perfume is the best way to judge your own response.
